One-Appointment Crowns

Time is very important to you, and that’s why we have made the investment in CEREC digital dentistry. CEREC is really an advanced state-of-the-art system enabling us to make and put in a natural-looking crown that matches your teeth flawlessly. And also, to perform the full process in a single appointment. It usually takes about an hour for the crown to get made and cemented in place. This process used to require a week to ten days.

There are merely a handful of dental locations which use this patient-convenient, state-of-the-art technology in their dental practice.

What is involved?

When you need to have a crown or an inlay, we design the new restoration with a special computer, and make the crown here in our own lab.

Because everything is electronic, we are able to take electronic impressions of your teeth. It means there is no more gagging on dental goop. The digital “impression” that is taken, utilizing a cutting edge three-dimensional scanning system, is significantly more accurate than traditional silicone molds and creates a crown that has a far more precise fit.

The crown is crafted from a high-strength ceramic block utilizing a three-dimensional milling machine. The ceramic that is used creates a stronger and more long-lasting crown in about an hour. That means you do not have to drive to visit us again, sit in the chair once more for an hour, and then drive back home just as before. You can save time, avoid hassles and spend less on fuel!
